Been In A Funk☁️ Ever just have one of those d Been In A Funk☁️
Ever just have one of those days (or few days) where you just ain’t feeling it?
.
Like no matter how many jokes you crack your light just ain’t shining through? ✨
.
How do you overcome it?
.
Personally I like to start by acknowledging it. 
I also like to allow myself to feel the funk for a little bit because sometimes these feelings just need to be felt.
Then I find out if there’s a root cause or emotion. 
Sometimes there’s an explanation and other times there isn’t.
On the days I don’t have an explanation, I just sit with the feeling as long as I need, usually 2-3 days.
. 
And other times I have to do these specific things. Swipe >> to see, and it helps bring me out! 
.
However it isn’t always that simple. So don’t feel bad if none of these tips actually work. 
All of our funks are different.
However when we looking deep within we can usually find what we need. 
And that’s usually what it’s all about. We aren’t meeting a need. Or we’ve gone too long without the need and find outside burnt out and stuck in the muck.

Gluten Free Lemon Poppy Breakfast Muffin✨ . Wha Gluten Free Lemon Poppy Breakfast Muffin✨

What makes this a breakfast muffin you ask?
Just the simple fact that I’m eating it for breakfast.
Ingredients:

2 3/4 cups Super Fine Almond Flour
5-6 TBSP tapioca flour
2-3 TBSP poppy seeds
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
zest of 2-3 medium lemons
1/3 cup pure maple syrup or honey
1/3 cup melted grass fed butter (or melted/cooled coconut oil)
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 large eggs
.
Mix all the dry ingredients in one bowl and wet in another then combine.
Bake at 350 for 15-18 mins.
.
*These muffins aren’t very sweet so if you like them on the sweeter side add coconut sugar, not extra syrup or honey as this will mess with the texture.
* the crumble is just butter, almond flour, coconut sugar and almond slithers. I think next time I will make a coconut cream glaze with honey.
